Warm Water Pool (WWP) at HALC is programmed for a variety of different activities including Gentle Water Exercise (GWE), Swimming Lessons, Aqua Play and Group Exercise Classes. This information will guide you to the right area of the WWP and ensure all our members and guests have an enjoyable and safe visit.
Gentle Water Exercise
The Gentle Water Exercise (GWE) space within the WWP is programmed at specific times as outlined on the WWP timetable. During these allocated times this area is suitable for slow moving gentle exercise, however is not suitable for swimming.
Gentle Water Exercise can still occur outside of the programmed times but we recommend users plan ahead to avoid times when Swimming Lessons and Aqua Play are programmed.
The Multipurpose space within the WWP is programmed at specific times and is ideal for less structured aquatic activity including gentle swimming, floating and general play. The Multipurpose space is great for the family to swim and play. For safety reasons, ball games cannot be accommodated.
Swimming Lessons are programmed throughout the week in the WWP. During lesson times a dedicated space will be assigned as outlined on the WWP timetable.
Group Exercise Classes
Group Exercise Classes are regularly conducted in the WWP for members and guests to participate in structured water based exercises delivered by an instructor. During class times a dedicated space will be assigned as outlined on the WWP timetable.
